Timber Eco Shield Paint 2.5Ltr
New Timber Eco Shield will prolong the life and good looks of your timber by using the latest nanotechnology that leaves a waterproof finish. It can be used on all outside (and inside) timbers. It gives a traditional matt wood stain finish in a range of natural colours.
It contains a mould inhibitor to protect the coating. It is perfect for use on all softwood and hardwood products and is especially recommended for use on pressure treated timbers, as well as, sheds, summerhouses, timber buildings, fencing, gates, garden furniture, animal and bird housing.
For ultimate performance the timber has a wood preservative pre-treatment. For the first treatment, two coats are recommended and will give a traditional wood stain finish that is long lasting.
1 litre will cover approximately 12mĀ² depending on moisture content and porosity of the timber. It is recommended that 2 coats are applied. Allow the first coat to dry before applying the second. It is advisable to apply the second coat in the same day due to it being very water repellent when fully bonded. The colour will be more intense with the second coat. No primer or basecoat is required.

Lifespan-Ā 2 ā 5 years depending on levels of wear & tear + exposure
Amount of coated needed-Ā 2 coats are recommended
Coverage-Approx. 10-12mĀ²per litre per coat. Coverage rates for 1st coat and rough-sawn timber will be at the lower end
How to apply-Ā Brush, Roller or Low Pressure Spray Gun. Ideal for spraying large areas
Drying time-Ā Touch-dry in 2 hours in normal weather. Allow approx. 2 hours before applying 2nd coat if conditions are clear and dry. Drying time will be far longer in cold humid conditions. The second coat must be applied as soon as the first coat is tough dry
